One of the most versatile actors this country has ever produced, Shabana Azmi, recently spoke of her love for Shashi Kapoor and the moment he treated her so cruelly that it brought her to tears. Shabana, who had been a tremendous fan of Shashi Kapoor since she was nine years old and had saved up her pocket money to purchase pictures of him, remembered how, when she was unexpectedly placed opposite him in the movie Hira Aur Patthar, he requested her to do personal parts. She declined and left the set. At this point, an enraged Shashi Kapoor appeared and chastised her. "When you said, 'Mummy mummy mai bhi actress banungi,' I didn't realize that at all.'" He dialed
